O\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gatefy.com\/pt-br\/blog\/o-que-e-malware\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">malware<\/a>\u00a0explorou vulnerabilidades em m\u00e1quinas de resson\u00e2ncia magn\u00e9tica e de tomografia, induzindo especialistas ao erro. A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/1901.03597.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pesquisa<\/a>\u00a0foi conduzida pela Universidade de\u00a0Ben-Gurion.<\/p>\n<p>O malware alterou 70 exames de pulm\u00e3o que depois foram analisados por tr\u00eas radiologistas. O mais assustador \u00e9 que, em quase 100% dos casos, o malware enganou os especialistas, adicionando c\u00e2ncer maligno em pacientes saud\u00e1veis e removendo a doen\u00e7a de pacientes doentes. Al\u00e9m disso, o malware foi capaz de enganar softwares que fazem an\u00e1lise autom\u00e1tica de exames.<\/p>\n<p>O experimento teve como objetivo demonstrar a vulnerabilidade de hospitais e de equipamentos. Mas n\u00e3o s\u00f3 isso. Nas palavras dos pesquisadores, o teste tamb\u00e9m mostra como \u201cum invasor pode realizar um ato deste tipo para impedir um candidato pol\u00edtico, para sabotar pesquisas, para cometer fraudes de seguros, para realizar um ato de terrorismo ou at\u00e9 mesmo para cometer um homic\u00eddio\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Para piorar o cen\u00e1rio, a amea\u00e7a teria a habilidade de alterar diversos tipos de exames. \u201cUma vez que os exames m\u00e9dicos\u00a0fornecem evid\u00eancias de condi\u00e7\u00f5es m\u00e9dicas, um invasor com acesso a uma m\u00e1quina de exames teria o poder de alterar o resultado do diagn\u00f3stico de pacientes. Por exemplo, ele poderia adicionar ou remover evid\u00eancias de aneurismas, doen\u00e7as card\u00edacas, co\u00e1gulos sangu\u00edneos, infec\u00e7\u00f5es, artrite, problemas de cartilagem, ligamentos ou tend\u00f5es rompidos, tumores no c\u00e9rebro, cora\u00e7\u00e3o ou coluna vertebral, al\u00e9m de outros tipos de c\u00e2ncer\u00a0\u201d, disseram os pesquisadores, no artigo.<\/p>\n<p>O malware foi projetado com base em algoritmos e deep learning. Assim como noticiou o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/technology\/2019\/04\/03\/hospital-viruses-fake-cancerous-nodes-ct-scans-created-by-malware-trick-radiologists\/?noredirect=on&amp;utm_term=.3c6cb99f221e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Washington Post<\/a>, ele n\u00e3o precisa de interven\u00e7\u00e3o humana para continuar atacando. Uma vez instalado pode continuar o trabalho sozinho.<\/p>\n<p>Para o ataque ter \u00eaxito, o malware precisaria infectar um sistema muito utilizado em hospitais chamado de PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
