href=\"https:\/\/gatefy.com\/pt-br\/blog\/pontos-comparacao-lgpd-brasileira-gdpr-europeia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GDPR<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>na Europa e a\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gatefy.com\/pt-br\/blog\/o-que-e-lgpd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LGPD<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0no Brasil, isto n\u00e3o significa que n\u00e3o existam leis sobre o assunto no pa\u00eds. Muito pelo contr\u00e1rio. Elas existem, mas s\u00e3o v\u00e1rias leis promulgadas em n\u00edveis federal e estadual.<\/p><p>Em geral, diferentemente da GDPR e da LGPD, as leis de seguran\u00e7a e privacidade de dados nos EUA s\u00e3o espec\u00edficas. Ou seja, elas regulamentam o uso de determinados tipos de dados ou regulamentam alguns setores, como sa\u00fade, finan\u00e7as e telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p><p>Na tentativa de cobrir pontos que as leis federais n\u00e3o cobrem, tamb\u00e9m h\u00e1 leis e regulamenta\u00e7\u00f5es em n\u00edvel estadual. Isto \u00e9, cada estado promulga as suas pr\u00f3prias regras em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 prote\u00e7\u00e3o de dados e informa\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p><p>Embora tenham semelhan\u00e7as, essas regulamenta\u00e7\u00f5es geralmente diferem entre os estados porque abrangem diferentes pontos de interesse.<\/p><p>Por falar nisso, alguns estados j\u00e1 est\u00e3o trabalhando na cria\u00e7\u00e3o e na aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de novas leis, mais abrangentes e protetivas. \u00c9 o caso da Calif\u00f3rnia, com a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gatefy.com\/pt-br\/blog\/o-que-e-ccpa-lei-privacidade-dados-california\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)<\/strong><\/a>, e de Nova York, com a\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gatefy.com\/pt-br\/blog\/o-que-e-nyshield-lei-seguranca-dados-nova-york\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Stop Hacks and Improve Electronic
