class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Como o pr\u00f3prio nome sugere, a California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) \u00e9 uma lei de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de dados da Calif\u00f3rnia, nos Estados Unidos. Ela re\u00fane regras que devem ser seguidas por empresas que lidam com dados pessoais. A CCPA surgiu no embalo da <a href=\"https:\/\/gatefy.com\/pt-br\/blog\/pontos-comparacao-lgpd-brasileira-gdpr-europeia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)<\/a>, a regulamenta\u00e7\u00e3o europeia, e na necessidade da Calif\u00f3rnia de proteger melhor os seus residentes, visto que n\u00e3o h\u00e1 uma \u00fanica lei geral de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de dados no pa\u00eds.<\/p><p>A CCPA foi aprovada em 2018 e entrou em vigor em janeiro de 2020. Em suma, a principal mudan\u00e7a que a lei traz \u00e9 que os cidad\u00e3os da Calif\u00f3rnia t\u00eam mais direitos sobre os seus dados. Em outras palavras, a lei concede \u00e0s pessoas os direitos de acessar dados, de saber como eles s\u00e3o usados e de proibir o uso deles.<\/p><p>&#8220;Ao mesmo tempo, a Calif\u00f3rnia \u00e9 uma das l\u00edderes mundiais no desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias e ind\u00fastrias relacionadas. No entanto, a prolifera\u00e7\u00e3o de informa\u00e7\u00f5es pessoais limitou a capacidade dos californianos de proteger e assegurar adequadamente a sua privacidade. \u00c9 quase imposs\u00edvel se candidatar a um emprego, criar um filho, dirigir um carro ou marcar uma consulta sem compartilhar informa\u00e7\u00f5es pessoais\u201d, afirma o projeto de Por exemplo, em casos de obriga\u00e7\u00f5es legais, de detec\u00e7\u00e3o de incidentes de seguran\u00e7a, e de exerc\u00edcio da liberdade de express\u00e3o.<\/p><p>A lei estabelece ainda que as empresas devem atender prontamente \u00e0s solicita\u00e7\u00f5es de acesso \u00e0s informa\u00e7\u00f5es pessoais.
