Na pr\u00e1tica, ela exige mais seguran\u00e7a e responsabilidade das empresas ao lidar com dados pessoais e privados de residentes do estado.<\/p><p>Na verdade, a NY SHIELD atualiza e expande legisla\u00e7\u00f5es que j\u00e1 existem no estado. S\u00e3o elas a lei de notifica\u00e7\u00e3o de viola\u00e7\u00f5es e a lei geral de neg\u00f3cios. Ali\u00e1s, as mudan\u00e7as da NY SHIELD que envolvem a lei de notifica\u00e7\u00e3o de viola\u00e7\u00f5es j\u00e1 entraram em vigor em outubro de 2019 e aquelas que dizem respeito \u00e0 lei geral de neg\u00f3cios v\u00e3o ter efeito em mar\u00e7o de 2020.<\/p><p>A NY SHIELD soma-se a diversas leis e regulamenta\u00e7\u00f5es de dados que t\u00eam surgido nos \u00faltimos anos. Esse ato amplia o escopo das informa\u00e7\u00f5es cobertas pela lei de notifica\u00e7\u00e3o e atualiza os requisitos de notifica\u00e7\u00e3o quando h\u00e1 uma viola\u00e7\u00e3o de dados.<\/p><p>Tamb\u00e9m amplia a defini\u00e7\u00e3o de viola\u00e7\u00e3o de dados para incluir uma pessoa n\u00e3o autorizada que obt\u00e9m acesso \u00e0s informa\u00e7\u00f5es.
