O DDoS \u00e9 um ataque malicioso que esgota os recursos do alvo e o torna indispon\u00edvel e inacess\u00edvel a seus usu\u00e1rios.<\/p>\n<p>Pense no ataque DDoS como um engarrafamento de tr\u00e2nsito, um tsunami ou uma avalanche. Ele bloqueia o tr\u00e1fego normal e impede que qualquer pessoa chegue ao destino final. Dando um exemplo pr\u00e1tico, durante um ataque DDoS, o seu site vai sair do ar ou ficar muito lento.<\/p>\n<p>Agora imagine o dano que um ataque DDoS pode causar. <a href=\"https:\/\/gatefy.com\/pt-br\/blog\/4-razoes-empresa-seguranca-de-email\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">O preju\u00edzo pode chegar a centenas e milhares de d\u00f3lares ou at\u00e9 mais<\/a>. Por ter o seu site indispon\u00edvel, uma rede varejista pode n\u00e3o ser capaz de comercializar os seus produtos, ou uma ag\u00eancia do governo pode n\u00e3o receber novas solicita\u00e7\u00f5es da popula\u00e7\u00e3o, ou um jornal pode ficar sem as suas not\u00edcias e os seus leitores.<\/p>\n<h2>Como funciona um ataque DDoS<\/h2>\n<p>Um ataque DDoS come\u00e7a com uma\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gatefy.com\/pt-br\/blog\/o-que-sao-botnets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">botnet<\/a>\u00a0ou rede de zumbis. \u00c9 isso mesmo, uma rede de zumbis. N\u00f3s vamos explicar. O cibercrimonoso deve ter controle sobre uma rede de m\u00e1quinas comprometidas para fazer o ataque. Esses dispositivos comprometidos, infectados com malware, s\u00e3o chamados de zumbis ou bots (de rob\u00f4s).<\/p>\n<p>Quando dizemos m\u00e1quinas, estamos falando de todos os dispositivos que t\u00eam acesso \u00e0 internet, incluindo os da IoT (internet das coisas). Isto significa: o seu PC, smartwatch, smartphone, entre muitos outros.<\/p>\n<p>Ent\u00e3o, com um ex\u00e9rcito de zumbis dispon\u00edvel, o cibercriminoso ordena o ataque, criando uma avalanche de pedidos para o servidor ou a rede do alvo. O resultado \u00e9 que o alvo n\u00e3o consegue processar tantos pedidos e acaba sucumbindo. Ou seja, nesta situa\u00e7\u00e3o, temos uma nega\u00e7\u00e3o de servi\u00e7o ao tr\u00e1fego normal.<\/p>\n<h2>Como se proteger contra um ataque DDoS<\/h2>\n<p>A grande dificuldade de combater um ataque DDoS \u00e9 diferenciar uma solicita\u00e7\u00e3o ruim de uma solicita\u00e7\u00e3o boa, j\u00e1 que o tr\u00e1fego hoje em dia vem de v\u00e1rias formas.
